Brett Broesder
Founding Executive Director
Brett Broesder, the founding executive director at Tomorrow’s Jobs, is a veteran communications and campaign strategist. He’s spent over a decade working for Democratic campaigns and elected officials, many with public service backgrounds.
Broesder’s campaign experience includes Barack Obama for President, Sheldon Whitehouse for US Senate, Ned Lamont for Governor, Mike Bloomberg for President, Peter Kilmartin for Attorney General, Shawn Wooden for Treasurer, Susan Bysiewicz for Lieutenant Governor, and more.
Broesder has a background in public service, too. He served as the policy and legislative director for the Rhode Island office of the attorney general. In addition, he served as the communications director for the cities of Hartford and Bridgeport, Connecticut, respectively.
Broesder is the founding president for the strategic communications firm, A Better Campaign. He’s also an alum of two international communications firms, H+K Strategies and Ketchum Public Relations.
Broesder currently serves on Milford, CT's Board of Aldermen, the city's legislative body. Before that, he was an elected member of Milford's Planning and Zoning Board.
Broesder is a graduate of Rhode Island College (RIC) and an MBA candidate at Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU). He resides in Milford, CT.
